Creative Camp: A Haven for Creative Minds

As a creative soul, I always found myself seeking environments that would inspire and challenge me. That's how the idea of the Creative Camp was born—a week-long retreat for creatives held in a picturesque area.

I wanted to combine the supportive and collaborative atmosphere of a surf camp I had attended with a focus on developing your current creative projects or exploring new ones. The result is a unique experience where attendees work on their own projects, participate in sharing sessions, enjoy delicious food, and explore the beautiful surroundings. It's an opportunity to step away from the distractions of everyday life, focus on your passion, and connect with people who share your creative spirit.


✨ The Creative Projects at Creative Camp: A Kaleidoscope of Inspiration

At the two previous Creative Camps, we brought together a great group of individuals from diverse backgrounds and artistic interests. Attendees worked on projects ranging from surreal paintings and textile art to nature photography and strategy board games. The atmosphere was filled with mutual support, and campers found inspiration in each other's work. I encourage attendees to hone their skills or venture into unexplored territories while receiving invaluable feedback and encouragement from fellow creators. Whether you're a painter, photographer, musician, or writer, Creative Camp is the perfect haven for those who crave an artistic escape that goes beyond a typical vacation. 

🚀 My Journey: The Path that Led Me to Create Creative Camp

As a creative with interests in art, music, video, and design, I've always been passionate about creating and making things. My background in graphic design and data science laid the foundation for my current project: developing an image generation desktop app. The idea for Creative Camp struck me at a surf camp, where I envisioned a community centered around creation rather than surfing, and thus the concept was born.

My vision for Creative Camp is to create an ever-evolving, inclusive, and inspiring community that continues to grow and support its members. Each camp will bring new ideas and experiences to the table, keeping the retreat fresh and enticing for both new and returning participants.The goal is to get a permanent house in order to always be able to provide all the tools, space and equipment people would need for their creative endeavors. 

🌈 The Magic of Creative Camp: What We do During the Camp

Creative Camp's environment is made to promote creativity and productivity. The retreat features a spacious villa surrounded by nature, providing both indoor and outdoor workspaces.  Alongside working on their projects, participants engage in sharing sessions and excursions. The retreat features planned sessions led by me, spontaneous sharing sessions organized by campers, and exciting excursions based on the group's interests.

I lead the planned sessions, helping campers crystallize their creative vision, set goals for the week, and track progress, while sharing sessions allow participants to teach and learn from each other. Excursions offer a chance to explore Portugal's stunning landscapes and attractions, creating unforgettable memories with newfound friends.

I strive to foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere at Creative Camp, nurturing lifelong connections among its participants. The retreat emphasizes community and inclusion, ensuring that everyone feels supported and encouraged in their creative journey.
